Hi! This is a repost of a video from last year, to celebrate the end of Summer!!! 🤣 Anyone who knows me, know how I feel about summer! And Autumn is my favorite time of year! 😊
Of course, summer won’t go quietly where I am, so they’re forecasting one last blast this week (or it better be!)! But I’m celebrating with this video nonetheless! 😆
I hope you enjoy this “blast from the past”! 😅
Previously, I posted an “ode to Autumn” (check it out here). Now, I’m posting a video with a poem inspired by the fragment of Sappho that gave the title to Anne Carson’s wonderful translation of all Sappho’s known poetry: “If not… Winter.”
I hope you enjoy my video ode to Autumn, and interpretation of Sappho’s beautifully enigmatic fragment.
Here’s a brief 5-second clip I used in the video. It’s also in my earlier post, but I figure I’ll save you a click (always thinking of you, dear readers! 😉)
Now here’s Autumn!

Wow Robin, the video is fantastic—please keep it up, I love this style.
Oh! Thank you so much! It’s a “blast from the past” when the AI models were not nearly as sophisticated as they are today, but I still like it very much! Thank you again for all your wonderful support! 😊
